Unusual Designs for Kitchen Cabinet Hardware

Kitchen cabinet hardware is pretty small which means that you can play around with a lot of fun colors. It’s not as a big of a commitment as it would be to go with a funky color of tile or it won’t take as much time is a way to paint all of your walls. In this case it can really add to your cabinetry but you need to make sure that the kitchen cabinet hardware that you choose does really match with the style of cabinet that you have.

Oak cabinetry was very popular a few years ago but now it’s quite dated. You can really take it back into more of a country kind of style or even make it quite rustic. You can find a lot of cabinet pulls that looks like knives and forks. This could be more primitive in an iron kind of design. This can be a little bit too cutesy. Instead you want to find silver pieces that look like actual silverware. It might not even have that utilitarian part of the fork on it, but just the basic scrollwork handles that you were also used to. Since this is such a large handle it can be quite expensive so you may just want to use these on one or two pieces. Then you could accent the rest of the room with vintage style silver knobs to save money. It does make a big impact so just use it on your main bank of cabinetry.

You can also make this quite contemporary depending on your kitchen cabinet colors or kitchen cabinet paint. This is a way that you can accent plain white cabinets or just lighter wood cabinets that don’t seem to have a lot going on with them. This is one of the few styles where the material can be chic enough for you to actually use color. In this case, you can go for glass knobs. This can just be in a basic square design. It can really almost mimic a sea glass and there might be a few different colors layered on top of each other.
