1) Must Have Accessory: Pretty Scarf
Like last season, the skinny scarf is back, and for girlie girls, this is going to be the way to dress down an outfit. It’s going to look great with your blazer, your wrap shirts, tanks and funky tees. The best colors for this season’s skinny scarves are dusty rose, slate blue and deep lavender. Mix it up a bit with a cool crochet or knitted scarf.
2) Must Have Top: Corduroy or Tweed Blazer
Ahh, my most favorite item of the year! Fitted blazers are a must for every girl, regardless of style. For girlie girls, softer colors like pink and tan are going to look best. Wear them with jeans to dress up an otherwise casual outfit. This is such a great must have, I’m going to label it an essential.

Most girlie girls are into designer bags, and really… who isn’t? For the Fashionista girlie girl, the bag to have is from the new Dooney and Bourke collection that spokeswoman Lindsay Lohan will be promoting. If designer goods aren’t your thing, it’s easy to find similar style bags at local retailers like TJ Maxx and Ross. Keep the bags hobo style, or small, shoulder bag size. Subtle logos are always in, and again, girlie colors like dark pink, fuchsia and blue are going to be a hit.
