Getting Extra Space with Wall Hung Kitchen Faucet

Sometimes when you wash your dishes in your basin, you will wish you have more space on it. The basic faucet sometimes gets in the way of your washing as the knobs sticks out from the side of the basin. Getting a bigger basin won’t fix this problem because the faucet will still come out from the top part of the basin. Why not separate your basin and get a wall hung kitchen faucet?

The wall hung faucet is the same as any faucet except it is not installed on the basin itself. It is mounted on the wall of the kitchen. This allows you to adjust how high you want the faucet to be, thus freeing more area around the sink. You don’t have to worry about the faucet not fitting on to your basin because they are no longer attached to each other. This allows you to have an easier time to mix and match. Unfortunately, installing a wall hung faucet maybe more costly then normal faucet. It is because you need to make space on your wall, install the piping and patch up the wall to install it. All these cost money and you need to close down the kitchen for at least a day. That is why people who decided to have wall faucet will already renovated their kitchen before they move into the house. You can do a make shift piping for a wall faucet but it will look very ugly.

But this shouldn’t turn you away from getting hung kitchen faucet. You will only need a minor renovation to install one and you can actually use this opportunity to change the tiles, wallpaper or wall paint of your kitchen.
