Dealing with the Dukan Diet Program

The Dukan diet was proven successful when it comes to losing weight fast. During the third phase of the diet, you can have two meals of your choice. You may opt for a restaurant meal with glasses of wine. Upon reaching the final phase of the diet program, you have to commit that you consume protein the whole day at least once a week.
The attack phase is the starting phase of the diet program. You are required to consume lean proteins during this phase, such as seafood, chicken and lean beat among others. To make your dishes tastier, you may add a squeeze of lemon or herbs and spices. Make sure to avoid consuming fatty meats and focus on lean proteins alone.
Your desire to lose weight should also motivate you to stick into the diet program. When you notice that some of your clothes become a little loose and you are dropping off some pounds, then do not stop there. Take note that you also have to make sure that you will not gain back the weight you already lost. When following Dukan, you also have to make sure that you consume lots of water. This is to keep your body hydrated since you are consuming protein-rich foods. This should be considered since protein contains high amount of waste products that may not break down completely during the digestion process. Uric acid can be a common product and this should be eliminated immediately. This is your kidneys’ primary job. To let your kidneys cope with such pressure, make sure to supply them sufficient amount of water.
The consolidation phase is known as the most crucial phase of the diet program. During the cruise phase, you are supposed to start your normal eating habit again. Take note that one of the most common challenges in any type of diet is to maintain the weight you have achieved from following the program. During the consolidation phase, you can consume bread, fruits and pasta and enjoy two meals per week of any meal you want.
Following the diet program should not be very hard for you since when you have reached the second phase, which is the cruise phase, you can already add vegetables into your diet along with the foods that are rich in protein.
